New! Tai Chi Class

Tuesdays & Thursdays* from 9-10am & 10-11am in the Maxson Room (2 sessions 2 days a week)

Try out our new Tai Chi class, taught by Tom Fletcher and Barbara LaRowe. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art, steeped in tradition and healing. It has slow continuous movements that focus on slow breathing and relaxation. Tai Chi uses the large stabilizer muscles to improve balance, coordination and flexibility. The quiet thoughtfulness helps to ease stress, improve sleeping and helps to protect memory.

Tom and Barbara are certified in 10 different Tai Chi forms and have been teaching and practicing for 17 years. They look forward to guiding you into your Tai Chi journey!

*Please note this class will meet 30 minutes earlier (8:30-9:30am and 9:30-10:30am) on the 2nd Thursday of each month due to room availability.
