Welcome to the Walla Walla Senior Center Health Challenge! This month-long event is comprised of 16 wellness-related tasks that we challenge YOU to accomplish this month. Every Tuesday and Thursday check back on our Facebook or right here on our website for resources to complete the starred tasks.

#1:  Check out this online fitness class**. Including physical activity in your routine is crucial to a long and healthy life. Let us know if you tried it! Have you completed any of the other challenges yet?

#4: 10-minute mediation. Practicing meditation helps you clear your mind and live more in the present moment. Read more about the benefits of meditation here:

#7: Unplug from the news. It's important to stay informed, but taking a break from the constant updates may lessen feelings of stress and anxiety and create more peace in your day. This blog post lists some good ideas for how to spend your time instead!

#8: Drink 8+ glasses of water. Water is so good for you! As we age, it's difficult to tell when we are dehydrated. That's why it's important to stay on top of your water intake to ensure your body is getting what it needs to stay healthy. Read about hydration tips here:
