Bequest Information

By leaving a legacy to the Senior Center you can be sure that your gift will support older adults in the Walla Walla Valley for years to come. Here's how you do it.

Depending on what you want to bequeath, here is some language you can use in your will to ensure that your possessions are being used how want.

Specific
"I give, devise and bequeath to the Walla Walla Senior Citizens Center, 720 Sprague St, Walla Walla, WA, 99362, EIN 91-087-4461:

1) The sum of $_____________." Or

2) __________% of my estate." Or

3) __________shares of stock in _______________Company." Or

4) My real property, parcel number #____________, located at____________________________."

 

Residual
"I give, devise and bequeath to the Walla Walla Senior Citizens Center, 720 Sprague St, Walla Walla, WA, 99362, EIN 91-087-4461 [all or a percentage] of the residue of my estate."

*Residue is defined as that which remains after debts and expenses of administration, legacies and all other devises have been satisfied.*

 

Contingent
"In the event that [name of beneficiary] does not survive, I give devise and bequeath the decreased beneficiary’s gift to the Walla Walla Senior Citizens Center, 720 Sprague St, Walla Walla, WA, 99362, EIN 91-087-4461."
